Several CBOs and NGOs have partnership arrangements of on-going support, joint resource mobilization and fundraising, project panning, monitoring and support, Proposal writing, capacity building among others

Big funding to weak agencies has spoilt the NGOs sector in Africa. Without structures, a $1m grant will have less impact to a small NGO and its target community compared to just $500 – $1,000! Starting with small grants to small NGOs/ groups is usually adequate and necessary to build management structures, systems and policies. This propels the organization to take off stage where on its own can manage or even secure, on its own, more appropriate and regular funding
